SwimPros — Parent Challenge (v1 redesign preview)
Cohort 1 · May 26-28 · Live

Your kid trains like a warrior.
Races like a ghost.

In 3 days we'll give your swimmer a 6-minute race-day routine they can run on autopilot. No pep talks. No "just have fun." Real tools — the same ones I used to set the Swiss national record at the London Olympics.

From David · 90 seconds

If your swimmer is a completely different person in practice vs. race day —

Watch this. 90 seconds. Hit play and I'll tell you exactly why it's happening — and what fixed it for me at the University of Virginia after I was falling apart at every big meet.

  • 01 The 1-on-1 phone call with Phelps' sports psychologist that changed everything
  • 02 Why it wasn't my fitness — it was the mental framework before races
  • 03 28 out of 35 swimmers hit a PB at our last camp on tired legs
David Karasek · London 2012 · Swiss National Record · 200 IM

You have more influence over that than you think.

The right words can unlock your swimmer.

The wrong ones — said with love — can quietly make it worse.

If any of this sounds like your house…

The training kid vs. the racing kid.

You're not alone. Most swim parents are nodding along.

🏊

In practice they look unstoppable.

On race day they look like a different swimmer — tight, slow, second-guessing every stroke. The coach says "they just need to relax and trust their training." Nobody tells you what to actually do.

🔇

The post-race silence.

The 90-minute drive home where nobody talks. You don't know what to say. They don't know what happened. You replay the race in your head and feel completely helpless.

💬

The pep talk that doesn't land.

"You've got this." "Just have fun." You can hear yourself saying it. You know it isn't enough. They know too. And the next race comes and the same thing happens again.

😶

You've already tried.

Pep talks. Breathing apps. "Just have fun out there." Maybe even a sports psych session that didn't quite stick. Nothing's wrong with your kid — they just don't have a routine they can run on autopilot when their hands shake on the blocks.

The hardest part isn't the training. It's the 6 minutes between the warm-up and the wall.

Parents who ran it

They came in skeptical. They left with a routine.

"Now I know what NOT to say after a race"

Melanie · mum of a 12yo · qualified Junior Swiss Champs

"I was the parent giving the post-race pep talks that made things worse. Day 2 of the challenge fixed it. Three things I'm not allowed to say. One thing I have to. He just qualified for Junior Champs."

"I'm a coach myself — David cracked the parent side"

Miroslava · swim parent + assistant coach · Romania

"I've coached for years and I still didn't know what to do as the parent in the stands. The challenge gave me the script my own coach never had. My daughter's coaches are using it now too."

🛡 The David Promise

Show up. Try the routine. If it doesn't change how your kid races, I'll book a free 1-on-1 myself.

Show up live to all 3 sessions. Try the routine at your kid's next meet. If you don't walk away with at least one tool that changes how your kid races, email me. I'll book a free 1-on-1 with you to map something specific to your kid — on the house. No pitch.

I'd rather work for free than have you walk away thinking SwimPros is just another course.

Quick answers

Before you sign up

It's free? What's the catch?
No catch. We run this every month and a chunk of parents stick around in our paid program after — that's the whole funnel. But the 3 days are 100% free, no card, no upsell mid-session. If you show up and the routine works for your kid, that's all I'm hoping for.
Will it work for an 11-year-old? A 17-year-old?
The routine works the same shape across ages — what changes is the language we use to teach it. We've had parents apply it with kids from 8 to college-age D1 swimmers.
What if I miss a session live?
Replays go up within 24 hours and live in the Skool classroom forever. But — show up live if you can. The Q&A at the end is where most of the magic happens.
Do we need any equipment?
Notebook + 30 minutes. That's it. The workbook PDF goes out the morning of Day 1.
What if it doesn't work for my kid?
Email me. I'll book a free 1-on-1 to map something specific to your kid. Same week, no pitch.
Where does it happen?
Skool community — skool.com/mindgympro. You'll get the invite link by email after signup. Live calls happen there. No Zoom, no calendar wrangling.

This is not for everyone.

If any of these are you, save your time:

  • You think your kid just needs to "want it more"
  • You're looking for a magic mantra to memorize
  • You can't or won't show up live to 3 × 30 min in Skool

Still here? Then this is for you. ↓

Look — it's free.
There's no card to put down.

You'll spend 90 minutes over 3 evenings. If it changes how your kid races, you'll tell me yourself. If it doesn't, I'll book a 1-on-1 to fix it.

The hardest part isn't the training. It's the 6 minutes between the warm-up and the wall.
