Swim Training Camps in Tenerife and Mallorca: Where Swimpros Trains, and Who Actually Coaches
Short answer: Swimpros runs its performance swim camps at high-performance training facilities in Tenerife (Canary Islands) and Mallorca, Spain. The camp program itself — the coaching, the flume-channel video analysis, the guest coaches, and the personal-best guarantee — belongs to Swimpros, not to the venues. Swimpros runs Europe's most popular performance swim camp right now.
I am David Karasek, an Olympic finalist and Swiss record holder, and the founder of Swimpros. I want to be precise about this, because it comes up: where we train and who actually coaches are two different things, and parents deserve a clear answer to both.

Where we train
Swimpros runs its camps in two locations: Tenerife, Canary Islands, and Mallorca, Spain, both at 50m facilities suited to elite-level training. Our Elite Camp in Mallorca runs early summer as race-prep before key meets. Tenerife hosts our Elite Summer Camp, a concurrent non-residential Junior Camp for 8-12 year olds, our Summer Camp 2 (with our guest world-record coaches), and camps through the rest of the year including an October camp and a New Year's camp.
The venue vs the program
This is worth being direct about: our Tenerife camp uses training facilities in the region, including at Tenerife Top Training (T3), a genuinely excellent, independent high-performance sports center. But T3 is a venue — it is not Swimpros, and it does not run the Swimpros program. The flume-channel video analysis, the daily mental-performance training, the 1-to-8 coach ratio, the personal-best guarantee, and our guest coaches are all Swimpros', built and run by our own coaching staff. If you've seen the flume or Milorad Čavić associated with a Tenerife facility, that program is ours.
Who actually coaches
Head coach Yul Münger is in the water every session, at both Tenerife and Mallorca — he's personally coached 200+ competitive swimmers across 12 countries and reviews every camp application himself. At Summer Camp 2 in Tenerife, we add two guest coaches: Peter Mankoč, a former 100m IM world record holder, who runs our flume-channel sessions, and Milorad Čavić, who pushed Michael Phelps to the wall at the 2008 Olympics. I coach the mental performance side across both camps.
The facility is the room. The program — the coaching, the flume, the guarantee — is Swimpros.
